Rice County, Minnesota

Rice County was named for Henry Mower Rice, one of the first two United States Senators from Minnesota. Rice County is in South Central Minnesota.

The seat and largest city is Faribault. It borders Steele, Dakota, Goodhue, Dodge, Waseca, Le Seuer and Scott Counties

Main highways through the county include I-35, MN-19, MN-3, MN-60 and MN-21.
